To begin with, the purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance among employees in the software development industry. Previous research has suggested that employees who are more satisfied with their jobs tend to perform better, but the strength and nature of this relationship can vary across different occupational contexts. The software development industry was chosen as the focus of this study due to its unique characteristics, such as the high level of technical expertise required, the fast-paced and constantly evolving nature of the work, and the potential for job-related stress and burnout.

A total of 300 software developers from various companies were recruited to participate in the study.
